Plastic pollution is catastrophic. 7bn tonnes of plastic has been made so far. Less than 10% of it is ever recycled.It’s estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish.Microplastics have now been found in human blood.Cirkla is on a mission to solve this. Cirkla is a sustainability solutions company that helps brands replace plastics with viable alternatives. We are working with some of the leading Fortune 500 brands and SMBs to build sustainable packaging solutions, source directly from manufacturers in Asia, and get products delivered globally. Cirkla’s founding team has deep domain knowledge & experience in building global businesses. Vaibhav (IITB, Kellogg School of Management), Ankur (IIT Kgp, ISB) and Kapil (IIP Mumbai. NMIMS) have worked across startups, strategy consulting, reputed CPG firms such as Unilever, P&G and J&J, and have built multiple businesses from the ground-up.Cirkla is HQ’d in the US and has a strong team based in Mumbai, India. We recently closed our seed funding from a global Tier 1 VC.This role is for a Product Designer, who will play an integral role in developing designs for Cirkla. What You’ll DoResponsible for developing products along with renders and  graphicsCome up with cost effective design solutions which meet the international standards Understand customer requirement to establish the design brief and conceptualise solutionsReview and identify problems and create functional designsEvaluate design considerations to optimise relevant DFX (Design for Excellence) Develop 3D models on Solidworks for the solutionsDraft 2D drawings of products developed and ensure proper document control Who you areGraduate/Post Graduate in Product/Industrial Design2-3 years of industry experience in product designing in a high-growth work environment demonstrated in a portfolio that showcases the problem solving ability and strategic thinkingProficient in Solidworks and KeyshotExperienced in graphic designing with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and  Adobe PhotoshopExperience in Packaging Design is preferred Knowledge and Experience in Manufacturing is preferredConsistent track record of delivering design projects successfullySelf-starter, high ownership & hungry for personal growthStrong communication skills, and ability to deal with ambiguityWhy join us?Impact: Be a part of the early team of a business that will create a large meaningful impact on the planet while being profitableWealth creation: Competitive CTC Culture: People who are super-driven, grounded and nice to work with!Location: MumbaiCTC: INR 7-9
