Job SummaryThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The role focuses on talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with Indian labour laws while driving a strong people-centric culture.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic PartnershipPartner with business leaders to understand business goals and provide HR solutions.Translate business strategy into people initiatives (workforce planning, capability building, org design).Act as a change agent during organizational transformations.Talent ManagementSupport hiring strategy, workforce planning, and succession planning.Drive performance management cycles (goal setting, reviews, ratings, promotions).Identify high-potential employees and support leadership development.Employee RelationsHandle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.Coach managers on people management and employee issues.HR Operations & ComplianceEnsure compliance with Indian labour laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, POSH, Gratuity, PF, ESI, etc.).Support audits and statutory requirements.Guide managers on HR policies and procedures.Learning & DevelopmentIdentify training needs and support learning initiatives.Partner with L&D teams to enhance employee capability and productivity.Compensation & RewardsSupport annual compensation reviews, incentives, and benchmarking.Advise business on pay structures and internal equity.Data & AnalyticsUse HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making.Track attrition, engagement, performance, and workforce trends.Required QualificationsMBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.6–12 years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in an HRBP role.Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR best practices.Skills & CompetenciesStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Business acumen and problem-solving ability.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.High level of confidentiality and integrity.
