These skills are essenal to essay the role of a HANA DBA In addion, it's important that you recognize everything in the checklist below: Job Descripon: Exp – 3 to 6 years • Good understanding & Knowledge on SAP HANA Database architecture. • Knowledge on Basic Linux operang system. • HANA Installaon, Upgrade, Renaming of HANA instance as part of Administraon. • Knowledge on HANA Backups and recovery concepts using tradional and Backint method. • Performing DB restarts and troubleshoong issues related to same on MDC/Non-MDC environment [using both OS level commands & studio]. • Installing HANA 2.0 MDC end to end. • Performing DB Client upgrade, add-on installaons and handling issues related to same. • Hana Version upgrade to different SPs in HANA 2.0 box. • Required experse on monitoring the alerts triggered from HANA studio and take necessary acon to suppress the same. • Applying licenses for HANA systems using OS/Studio environments. • Audit log management and enable audit log for users. • Enable/disable different types of traces for performance analysis. • Performing end-end system health checks. • Experience on HANA user management. • Troubleshoong skills on issues related to Backup-recovery, Memory, CPU ulizaon and DB Performance tuning. • Parameter configuraon changes in HANA DB. • Performing backup recovery and point in me recovery for both MDC and Non-MDC systems. • Handling HANA Outages like system down, system hang and slowness situaons by meeng required SLA’s. • Handling the P1 and P2 related incident and provide the mely soluon to customer by meeng required KPI’s. • Driving the shi by taking shi lead responsibility is an added advantage. Roles & Responsibilies: • You will be responsible for message processing, technical incident management, service- and change request management as well as problem management and root cause analysis. • You will be performing installaon, patching and upgrade acvies. • You will be responsible for performance monitoring and tuning, backup and restore as well as recovery procedures. • You will ensure high availability of the systems including disaster recovery setup. • Providing technical experse and support in opmizing System Operaon/ System Architecture. • Support in development of concepts and tools to solve and prevent problems and to increase efficiency. • Working in internaonal teams and driving global knowledge transfer and documentaon. • You will conduct workshops and training courses (for customers) and ensure knowledge transfer within the team and supervise juniors and trainees. • Planning, setup and implementaon of technical migraon projects and improvement of product and processes, complete your job. • You own a degree (e.g. business informacs, computer science) or IT training or are a career changer with IT affinity and experience. • You have outstanding analycal skills, technical affinity and a strong customer focused soluon orientaon are your hallmarks
