We provide software and digital payment solutions to the BFSI Industry as a Technology service provider. We function as a Technology Service Provider (TSP) and a Third-Party Aggregator Provider (TPAP), catering to stakeholders across the financial value chain, including banks, merchant aggregators, merchants, and consumers. We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar’24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants. What will you do As a Team Lead - Production Support at NPST, you will lead a team of Linux support engineers while being hands-on with complex infrastructure issues. You will be responsible for overseeing major incidents, mentoring L1 and L2 teams, and collaborating closely with development and infra teams to ensure uptime, scalability, and performance of core platforms like IMPS, UPI, MBS, and BBPS. Your expertise will drive automation, preventive maintenance, and high availability. Job responsibilities: · Lead the resolution of critical issues escalated from L1 and L2 teams and external stakeholders.· Provide architectural guidance on Linux infrastructure and support systems integration.· Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and permanent resolutions for high-severity issues.· Work closely with banking partners for DR drills, change requests, and production stability.· Mentor and guide L2 administrators and help define best practices for troubleshooting and monitoring.· Drive automation scripts to improve efficiency in deployment, monitoring, and patch management.· Ensure infrastructure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, ISO, RBI).· Lead capacity planning, availability management, and preventive maintenance strategies.· Coordinate with development teams to review deployment and rollback plans, ensuring zero downtime.· Own and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, and incident records with accuracy.· Work with internal teams during UAT and Go-Live phases for seamless production rollout.· Ensure timely stakeholder communication and closure of incidents and service requests.· Participate in technical interviews and onboarding support engineers as needed. What are we looking for: · Minimum 7+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with at least 2 years in a Lead role.· Strong experience in supporting high-availability banking applications (IMPS, UPI, Mobile Banking).· Excellent knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python), automation tools, and server security practices.· Hands-on experience in patching, upgrades, and DR/BCP strategies in critical environments.· Proven experience in handling scheduled commercial bank environments in India.· Strong understanding of infrastructure compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, ISO 27001).· Ability to drive major incident bridges and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.· Should be available to support critical issues 24x7 as per roster or business need.· Excellent leadership, analytical, and mentoring skills.· Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate and own your work. · Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills. · Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · A collaborative approach and work with perfection as a group effort to achieve organization goal.
