Job description of Assistant Manager - Examination PositionAssistant Manager - Examination DepartmentExamination Office Location: Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon Reports To: Head of Examinations Assistant Manager - Examination is responsible for providing administrative support to the Examination Office. This role involves handling tasks related to the scheduling, coordination, and processing of examinations, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Examination Administrationo Assist in scheduling invigilators for exam sessions. o Assist in scheduling exams, including mid-term, end-term, and supplementary exams. o Prepare examination datasheets and communicate schedules to students and faculty. o Organize examination venues, seating plans, and invigilation schedules. 2. Record Keeping and Data Managemento Update student records in the database, including grades, results, and any changes. o Handle documentation for special accommodations, deferrals, or exemptions. 3. Compliance and Regulationso Ensure all examination processes adhere to institutional policies and regulations. o Handle cases of academic misconduct in accordance with the guidelines provided (e.g., Unfair Means Committee). o Assist in the preparation of documents for appeals, reviews, or committee hearings. 4. General Administrative Duties o Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and mailing examination documents. o Support the Examination Office with any ad-hoc duties as required. o Maintain confidentiality of all examination-related information. Qualifications and Skills• Graduate or equivalent; additional qualifications in administration or a related field are an added advantage. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data management systems. • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling records. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in exam administration is preferred.
