Reporting into the Operational Team Lead, this role plays a critical part in delivering on our promise of Procurement-as-a-Service ensuring that every item delivered to market meets the highest standards of product safety, compliance, and brand integrity.You’ll be joining a collaborative, fast-paced team that values precision, partnership, and continuous improvement, with a shared commitment to driving value and excellence for our client.Purpose of the roleThe Quality Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that supplier output consistently meets client’s brand, product, and compliance standards across all relevant Premiums categories. Operating as part of the local in-market team, they work closely with internal production teams, agency partners, and suppliers – both remotely and on-site – to uphold executional excellence.This role is focused on driving quality assurance throughout the Premiums development and production lifecycle, including the review of product samples, certifications, materials, prototypes, and finished goods. The QC manager plays a key role in identifying and preventing quality risks, leading corrective actions when needed, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. They are a guardian of product consistency and safety, with a passion for precision and high standards.Key Responsibilities:Conduct pre-production, on-site, and post-production quality control checks with suppliersReview product samples, prototypes, and specifications to ensure compliance with safety regulations, client requirements, and global standardsOffer high-quality guidance and technical support to internal production and client teams.Identify and address quality issues by coordinating root cause analysis and corrective actions among stakeholders.Ensure compliance with the agreed specifications, certification requirements, and product guidelinesChampion continuous improvement initiatives across supply partners and identify training or process gaps where necessary.Maintain precise quality reports and audit records to promote transparency and governance.Skills, knowledge, experience and exposureProven experience in premiums production, quality control, product safety, or supplier management environmentsExpert eye for detail and strong working knowledge of product QA frameworks, testing protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g. REACH, EN71, etc.)Experience working directly with suppliers, factories, and technical teams across the premiums supply chainIn-depth understanding of sampling processes, product inspection, material compliance, and manufacturing standardsFamiliarity with relevant documentation standards including safety data sheets (SDS), test reports, and compliance checklistsAbility to travel locally to conduct on-site reviews and inspections as requiredMindset and temperament to navigate the roleThe ideal Quality Control Manager exhibits a meticulous and quality-focused mindset, maintaining an unwavering attention to detail and excellence in execution.
