We support learners from high school to doctoral levels in completing rigorous, publication-oriented research with one-to-one mentoring and review from a Global Faculty Advisor.Role overviewAs a Research Project Mentor, you will guide students through end-to-end research execution, from topic refinement to academic writing and publication preparation. You will provide structured mentoring, clear milestones, timely feedback, and simple project tracking to keep the work moving consistently.Key responsibilities• Guide project selection: Help students identify, evaluate, and refine research questions within their domain.• Structured mentorship: Deliver approximately 10- 12 hours of mentoring per student project.• Deliverables and feedback: Assign and evaluate deliverables across project phases and provide feedback.• Research support: Share relevant literature, datasets, databases, and research tools that fit the project and student level.• Project tracking and documentation: Maintain phase-wise records of progress.• Timeline management: Ensure timely submission of components in line with Global R-Hub guidelines and coordinate with the assigned Faculty Advisor at key checkpoints.• Support and communication: Proactively address delays, identify risks early, and escalate significant challenges when needed.• Optional contribution: Propose project ideas or contribute short learning resources/workshops for the methods toolkit.Qualifications• Education: Currently pursuing or completed PhD/Postdoc in fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Finance, Economics, Psychology, and related disciplines.• Research capability: Strong understanding of research design, methodology, and academic standards.• Data and tools: Comfort with statistical software such as R, Stata, Python, SPSS (as relevant to your field).• Writing and communication: Clear academic writing, strong verbal communication, and the ability to explain concepts to students at different levels.• Professional skills: Reliable, detail-oriented, able to manage deadlines, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.Why join• Flexible, remote mentorship work with a clearly defined project scope• Opportunity to support motivated students and contribute to publication-quality outcomes• Collaboration with global faculty reviewers and an international learning community
