Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Engineer! The ideal candidate is an integral part of a fast-paced development team that builds an integrated product suite of Enterprise applications in the EV Charging network domain. The Candidate will participate in the technical design of database SQL queries for new products, as well as review and tuning database queries in existing products. This candidate works closely with rest of cross-functional team to produce design documents, implement database optimizations, and provide benchmarks. If you find passion in the Company’s mission, your qualifications and interest align with the expectations below, we would love to talk to you about this position.What you’ll do: The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a fast-paced development team that builds an integrated product suite of Enterprise applications in the EV Charging network domainCandidate will participate in the technical design of database/SQL queries for new products, as well as review and tuning database queries in existing solutionsThis candidate will work closely with rest of cross-functional team to produce design documents, implement database optimizations, and provide benchmark metricsDesign and contribute SQL aspects for web and microservice APIs based applicationsSupport Production DatabaseImplement DB partitioning, compression and indexing strategies for performance optimizationDefine and execute data archival and deletion activity as per business and legal requirements. Collaborate with cross functional teams including our Global Engineering teams in an Agile development environmentProven experience successfully optimizing databases for performance & scalabilityProvide queries for ad hoc data requirements.Perform or help dev team in DB data migration activities.
