The IT Developer / Engineer II researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests, and maintains both existing and new business applications and information systems solutions. This role involves working with databases, third-party software, and internally developed applications to meet business and technical requirements across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business and technical requirements to design effective application and system solutionsDevelop, modify, and enhance applications using approved technologies and standardsConfigure and integrate third-party and internally developed applications and infrastructure solutionsPerform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testingCreate and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system workflowsProvide ongoing application and system maintenance, including database managementParticipate in architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with IT standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives and strategiesSupport end users and functional teams such as Supply Chain and other business unitsRequired SkillsStrong development experience in Python OR Java OR .NET platformsExperience with application development, integration, and maintenanceUnderstanding of database concepts and information systemsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsPreferred SkillsExperience working with enterprise applicationsExposure to system integration and infrastructure solutionsFamiliarity with SDLC and best development practicesWork EnvironmentWorks within the Information Technology functionSupports HP end users and multiple business functions
