Role Overview:As a Consultant – PMO (Finacle Transformation) at The Digital Fifth, you will play a key role in managing and supporting core banking transformation initiatives for our clients, particularly around Finacle version upgrades and digital enablement. This role demands strong project management skills, understanding of banking processes, and hands-on exposure to Finacle environments. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, technology partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of programs, adherence to governance processes, and timely delivery of outcomes.This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, bring structure to complex initiatives, and maintain strong alignment across business, technology, and operations functions.Key Responsibilities:1. Project Management & GovernanceDrive end-to-end PMO activities for Finacle and related transformation programs.Track and manage project plans, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.Facilitate regular governance meetings, prepare status reports, and maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs.Ensure adherence to project management standards, processes, and documentation norms.Support program governance by defining KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for management review.2. Finacle Upgrade & Core Banking TransformationOversee Finacle version upgrade programs, coordinating across business, IT, and vendor teams.Manage change requests, environment readiness, UAT coordination, and post-go-live validations.Track issue resolution and ensure proper documentation of enhancements, patches, and configurations.Work with stakeholders to align business processes and functionalities with new Finacle versions and modules.3. Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementCollaborate with internal and external teams including OEMs, system integrators, and bank business units.Act as the central point of communication between business users, technology teams, and project sponsors.Manage vendor deliverables, SLAs, and support ticket follow-ups to ensure project continuity.Drive alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.4. Reporting & Process ImprovementCreate and maintain detailed project documentation, dashboards, and progress trackers.Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and governance control.Support audit and compliance reviews by maintaining up-to-date project artifacts and approvals.Provide data-driven insights and reports for management and regulatory submissions, where applicable.Qualifications:Education: BE/B.Tech with MBA from a reputed institution.Experience: 3–4 years of experience in PMO/project management roles within a banking technology or core banking environment (Finacle preferred).Strong understanding of Finacle modules, interfaces, and upgrade processes.Experience in coordinating Finacle version upgrade cycles, including SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-production support.Familiarity with banking operations, IT governance, and change management practices.Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments with cross-functional dependencies.Understanding of ITIL, SDLC, and Agile methodologies is an added advantage.Why Join The Digital Fifth?Startup Culture: Be part of a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment solving real challenges in banking and fintech.Diverse Exposure: Work with leading banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and technology providers on large-scale digital and core banking transformation programs.End-to-End Involvement: Engage across program governance, process improvement, delivery tracking, and post-implementation stabilization.Learning & Growth: Develop expertise in Finacle transformation programs, PMO best practices, and digital banking delivery models.Location: Mumbai/ Client Site (Open to travel)Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based bonus
