Fashion Designer (Woven & Knit)Experience: 2–3 years Industry: Fashion / Apparel / D2C Location: Shyamal & Narol (Design and Development) Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per monthRole OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Fashion Designer who can independently design and execute woven and knitwear styles with high precision. This role is execution-heavy and fast-paced, requiring the ability to design, develop, and close styles quickly in line with business timelines.The ideal candidate is a task master, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an environment where 30–40 new designs are executed every month.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & DevelopmentDesign woven and knitwear styles from concept to final executionDevelop tech packs, measurements, trims, and fabric detailsEnsure design feasibility, fit accuracy, and production readinessWork closely with sampling and production teams for fast turnaroundsSpeed & ExecutionDeliver 30–40 new designs per month across categoriesManage multiple styles simultaneously without compromising qualityClose designs within defined timelines and handover for sampling/productionCoordination & CommunicationCoordinate with sourcing, sampling, and merchandising teamsCommunicate design intent clearly to vendors and internal teamsIncorporate feedback quickly and iterate designs efficientlyTools & SystemsUse basic design tools such as:Adobe IllustratorPhotoshopCorelDRAW (if applicable)Maintain organised design files, tech packs, and referencesRequired Skills & ExperienceMust-Have2–3 years of experience as a Fashion DesignerStrong hands-on experience in woven and knit garmentsAbility to execute designs with speed and accuracyComfortable handling high design volumes (30–40 styles/month)Good verbal and written communication skillsStrong task ownership and time management skillsGood to HaveExperience with menswear (shirts, polos, tees, chinos, denims)Exposure to D2C or fast-fashion environmentsUnderstanding of costing and production feasibilityHiring Process RequirementA design assignment/project will be given as part of the hiring processCandidate must be comfortable completing the project within a defined timelineThe assignment will evaluate execution speed, detailing, and practicalityWhat We’re Looking ForExecution-focused designer (not only conceptual)Ability to match a fast-moving brand’s paceStrong attention to detailClear communication and an ownership mindsetWhy Join UsHigh design ownership and creative freedomFast-growing fashion brand environmentExposure to the complete design-to-production lifecycle
