Our Projects practice is a market leader, advising on some of the most complex and cutting-edge infrastructure, energy, and public-private partnership (PPP) transactions in India and across borders.Job Overview:We are looking to hire a Counsel with a strong background in project development, energy law, and infrastructure transactions. The ideal candidate will work across a broad spectrum of sectors including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, transportation, urban infrastructure, and utilities.The role involves working closely with partners and clients on high-value, cross-border and domestic projects—right from development through financing, construction, and operation.Key Responsibilities:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of project and commercial contracts, including:Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)Concession and License AgreementsEPC, O&M, and Supply AgreementsFuel Supply and Transmission AgreementsGovernment approvals and bid documentsAdvising clients on regulatory, land acquisition, environmental and sector-specific laws (e.g., Electricity Act, PPP frameworks, RERA, SEZ regulations).Supporting project finance transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of financing and security documents.Advising both public and private sector clients including developers, financial institutions, government authorities, EPC contractors, and investors.Coordinating with internal teams (banking, real estate, dispute resolution) on multi-disciplinary matters.Assisting in business development activities including client pitches, industry research, and knowledge publications.Keeping up to date with evolving regulatory frameworks, government policies, and sectoral reforms.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
