Alongside digital marketing, we believe long-term trust is built through real relationships, communities, and consistent presence — and that’s where this role plays a key part.About The RoleAs a Community, Offline Marketing & Partnerships Intern, you will support Indus’s community engagement and offline brand presence across Indian communities in Australia and New Zealand.You’ll work closely with one of the founders and help execute initiatives that strengthen Indus’s visibility, credibility, and relationships at a grassroots level.What You'll Do Research and identify relevant Indian communities across Australia and New Zealand (student groups, professional networks, cultural organisations, regional associations, etc.)Support relationship-building with community organisers, leaders, and local influencersAssist in planning and executing community-led initiatives such as: Meetups, Workshops, Community events, Cultural gatheringsCollaborate on partnership ideas where Indus adds genuine value to communities, beyond simple visibilitySupport light outreach to community-run platforms such as newsletters, podcasts, or local forums (where relevant)Gather on-ground insights and feedback and share learnings with the core teamWho This Role Is ForWe’re looking for someone who:Enjoys working with people and building real, long-term connectionsCommunicates clearly and confidently (this role is largely remote)Is proactive, curious, and comfortable taking initiativeThinks creatively about brand-building beyond online ads and social mediaHelpful But Not MandatoryHelping organise or run:College festsCommunity eventsMeetups or conferencesBeing involved in:Student bodiesCultural or regional associationsCommunity-led initiativesAny exposure to offline marketing, partnerships, or event coordinationWhy This Internship Is DifferentYou’ll work directly with a founderYou’ll gain hands-on exposure to community-led brand building for a regulated fintechYou’ll learn how trust is built in cross-border markets (ANZ)Your work will be visible, practical, and genuinely impactful
