SAP FICo AnalystKey Responsibilities1. Application Management & SupportProvide functional support for SAP Finance modules (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA).Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and enhancements according to ITIL processes.Monitor integrations and coordinate with vendors when issues arise.Ensure stable daily operations for financial closing, payment runs, invoicing, and reporting.2. SAP Configuration & Development CoordinationPerform hands-on configuration in SAP FI/CO as needed (e.g., tax, asset accounting, accounts payable/receivable, controlling).Participate in solution design, testing, and documenting functional specifications for development teams.Collaborate with SAP Public Cloud roadmap initiatives and configuration guidelines.3. Requirements Gathering & Process AnalysisPartner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Analyse existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements or innovations.Support fit-gap analysis for S/4HANA Public Cloud.4. Project ParticipationActively contribute to projects related to:SAP enhancementsERP rolloutsPublic Cloud migrationFinance process harmonisationSupport data migration, testing cycles, and cut-over planning.5. Documentation & ComplianceEnsure documentation follows internal and audit standards.Adhere to finance, data privacy, and integration security best practices.Support internal and external audits.Qualifications & ExperienceMust-HavesBachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.Min. 3 years experience in SAP Finance application support or configuration.Strong understanding of financial processes:Accounts payable/receivableGeneral ledgerAsset accountingControllingPeriod-end closingHands-on experience with SAP FI/CO configuration in ECC and/or S/4HANA.Understanding of ERP integrations and data flows (IDoc, API, middleware).Ability to analyse incidents, propose solutions, and communicate clearly with finance users.Excellent English communication skills.Nice-to-HavesKnowledge of:SAP S/4HANA Public CloudSAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)SAP Integration SuiteSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)DatasphereExperience with ITIL, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar incident tools.Ability to work in international virtual teams.Experience with vendor coordination.Keys to Success in This RoleStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.Ability to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions.Proactive learner, curious about new SAP technologies.Positive team player who takes initiative and communicates transparently.- Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to change
