Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled QA Engineer (SDET) with strong hands-on experience in automation and manual testing of modern enterprise applications. The role involves testing APIs, web applications, and event-driven systems, with a focus on quality, security, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities- Perform hands-on automated and manual testing of APIs, web applications, and event-driven systems. - Review and analyze system requirements, technical specifications, and architecture diagrams. - Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for Java-based applications. - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, particularly in financial systems. - Create and maintain test cases, test data, and execution reports. - Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. - Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.Skills Required (Minimum Criteria)Technical Skills & Proficiency (SFIA Level 4–5)- Java: - Hands-on Java coding for test automation - UI Automation: - Functional and regression testing - Selenium WebDriver with Java-based frameworks - API Testing: - API and microservices testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools - Ability to read and validate Swagger/OpenAPI specifications - Test Case & Test Data Management: - Creation and maintenance of comprehensive test cases and datasets - Defect Management: - Defect identification, documentation, tracking, and closureSoft Skills & Competencies (SFIA Level 4–5)- Critical Thinking: - Challenge assumptions - Validate requirements - Align test coverage with business and technical goals - Communication & Collaboration: - Clear articulation of defects, test results, and quality metrics - Strong collaboration with Development, DevOps, and Product teams - Active knowledge sharing and teamworkInterested candidates can apply or share their profiles.- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussion.
