This role will be integral in providing strategic, economic, and financial advisory services to support client visions and guide decision-making across a range of complex and high-impact projects.Key Responsibilities:- Develop economic strategies for regional, urban, and industrial plans using both quantitative and qualitative methods - Lead or contribute to business cases, feasibility studies, and economic impact assessments - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes - Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance and control standards - Support business development activities including contribution to project proposals - Attend and lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops as required (travel may be involved)Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in economics, or a related field - Master’s degree (M.A OR MBA) is a strong advantage - Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, or project development roles, Investment Banking, Business Analysis, Cost Benefits Analysis, Urban Infrastructure, market assessment; market research; project feasibility study, development strategy, economic impact assessments, regional and industrial assessments. - Demonstrated experience in delivering economic advisory within sectors such as real estate, transport, environment, tourism, industrial zones, and social infrastructure - Strong communication skills (verbal and written), problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesCore Competencies:- Communication: Clear and confident in both written and verbal communication, especially with clients and stakeholders - Analytical Thinking: Strong capability in both qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop evidence-based strategies - Technical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to provide sound economic advice across varied and complex projects - Project Management: Skilled in managing timelines, deliverables, and interdisciplinary coordination - Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams and driving project successAbout Dar Economics:At Dar Economics, we support projects across all sectors and geographies — from the Middle East and Gulf region to Sub-Saharan Africa — working on everything from national development strategies to renewable energy feasibility studies.
