Qualification: Masters/ PhD ( PhD Mandatory)Experience: Freshers/ min 3+ yrsReporting to: Principal/DeanGeneral Responsibilities:- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning - Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning - Minimum 20 hours teaching load per week. - Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.) - Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback - Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom - Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings - Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events - Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc. - Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc. - To set, evaluate, and mark students’ course work, homework and other assignments promptly, and to record marks on College systems as requested, in accordance with the College Assessment and Marking Policy and procedures. - To carry out formative and summative assessments as appropriate. - To complete associated and administrative tasks to deadlines, as directed. - To induct students appropriately, to provide academic advice, counseling, educational guidance, and tutorial support to students, including individual learning plans as directed. - To supervise students’ attendance and behaviour and follow up as appropriate, in accordance with the College Behaviour and Attendance policies. - To undertake any reasonable duties as required.
