Role Overview:QualiZeal is looking for an experienced and versatile Senior WordPress/Web Developer to help power the next evolution of our digital presence. This role goes beyond typical theme customization — you will architect and develop high-performance, scalable, and SEO-optimized websites that are deeply integrated with our marketing systems, personalization tools, and business goals. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high-impact teams using cutting-edge technologies to build digital experiences that reflect our brand and drive real impact.Responsibilities:WordPress Development- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable WordPress websites and landing pages. - Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins based on business and UI/UX requirements. - Implement and manage custom post types, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), taxonomies, shortcodes, and Gutenberg blocks. - Translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, performant code. - Extend WordPress beyond CMS into custom portals and solutions as needed. - Write and maintain custom PHP and MySQL code for advanced site functionalities. - Integrate REST APIs and third-party platforms like CRMs, CDPs, and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.). - Manage version control using Git, and adhere to clean coding principles. - Perform routine site audits, backups, updates, and security monitoring. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and flawless functionality across all devices.Performance & SEO Optimization- Optimize for Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile responsiveness using tools like Lighthouse, GTMetrix, and PageSpeed Insights. - Implement CDN, caching, image compression, and lazy loading strategies. - Maintain SEO-friendly URL structures, metadata, schema markup, and accessibility standards. - Conduct technical SEO audits and apply fixes to boost discoverability and ranking. - Integrate and manage tools like HubSpot, Zoho, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and dynamic personalization platforms. - Enable tracking of marketing metrics (form submissions, user behavior, organic traffic). - Personalize website experiences based on audience segmentation and behavioral triggers.Requirements:- 6-8 years of hands-on WordPress development experience. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - Strong command of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery, React). - Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. - Proven experience with website loading speed performance tuning. - Deep understanding of WordPress, REST API. - Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD workflows, and deployment best practices. - Experience working with CDNs, cloud servers, and modern web protocols. - Working knowledge of SEO, schema markup, accessibility, and page speed standards. - Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, and page builder best practices. - Prior experience working on enterprise-level websites or portals is a plus. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality. - Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.Why Join QualiZeal:- Lead a critical function in a high-growth company poised for industry leadership. - Opportunities for a rewarding career path and professional growth. - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Collaborative, innovative, and supportive work culture. - Chance to make a significant impact on the Quality Engineering industry. - QualiZeal is an equal opportunity employer.
