Role Overview The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across procurement, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning. This role will drive cost efficiencies, service level improvements, and scalability while ensuring seamless operations across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with business growth plans Lead supply chain transformation initiatives focused on cost optimization, automation, and scalability Act as a key stakeholder in business planning, new launches, and expansion initiatives Procurement & Vendor Management Oversee strategic sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management Build long-term supplier partnerships to ensure quality, continuity, and cost competitiveness Implement supplier performance management and risk mitigation plans Demand Planning & Inventory Management Drive accurate demand forecasting in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels and working capital Reduce stock-outs, excess inventory, and obsolescence Warehousing & Logistics Manage warehouses, fulfillment centers, and last-mile delivery operations Optimize logistics costs through network design, route optimization, and carrier management Ensure high OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance and SLA adherence Process Excellence & Technology Implement and enhance ERP, WMS, TMS, and supply chain analytics tools Drive SOP standardization, lean processes, and continuous improvement initiatives Leverage data and dashboards for decision-making and performance tracking Team Leadership Build, mentor, and lead high-performing supply chain teams across functions and locations Set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and develop succession plans Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions and operational risks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Supply chain cost as % of revenue Inventory turns and working capital efficiency OTIF / service level adherence Forecast accuracy Vendor performance and cost savings Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field MBA / PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain preferred 12–18 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain roles, with at least 5 years in leadership Strong exposure to multi-location operations and complex supply networks Skills & Competencies Strong strategic and analytical thinking Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills Deep understanding of supply chain systems and analytics Ability to lead large teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments Strong communication and executive presence
