At audax, we seek go-getters who are hungry for growth and can bring fresh perspectives.Website - You’ll DoWe are looking for a HR professional with 5 to 7 years of experiences, preferably in a technology or startup environment and have experience with good governance/ compliance practices to guide our India Talent Acquisition and HR Operational matters. The core responsibility of the role is to manage vendor / contractor engagement, payroll & insurance coordination, HR policies and compliance management, and employee advisory on local matters. 1.Global Contractor Hiring & Engagement, Talent Acquisition SupportManage end-to-end contractor lifecycle for India and Vietnam: hiring, extensions, and offboarding in coordination with external agencies. This includes Statement of Work (Contract) drafting and vendor liaison. Ensure all contractor agreements are aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Ensure contractors' onboarding/ offboarding logistics are arranged with their agencies. Support Global TA Specialist on hiring activities. 2.HR Vendor Liaison Coordinate with payroll and insurance vendors for onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors.Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits, and statutory compliance matters.3.HR Operations and Advisory Update HRIS with regards to onboarding/ offboarding matters. Update HR handbook and practices up-to-date with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.Advise HQ HR on HR risks and ensure compliance across HR operations.Review and refine HR practices to improve local and cross-entity (with Singapore) operations. Work closely with HQ in Singapore for monthly reporting on HR metrics, headcount, and other relevant updates.Act as a trusted advisor for India-based staff on employee relations, HR queries, and policy clarifications.Support managers and employees in resolving day-to-day HR issues effectively.What We’re Looking For5–7 years of experience in HR operations, contractor management, or talent acquisition, preferably in a technology or startup environment.Strong knowledge of India (Bangalore's state) labor law, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.Hands-on experience with vendor management, payroll, insurance, and HR reporting.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with international teams (HQ in Singapore, stakeholders in multiple locations - Singapore, Australia, Poland, Vietnam). Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. This role is to be based in Bangalore, India. Ideal candidate needs to be able to work onsite (in office) on days required.
