The role is responsible for ensuring safe vessel operations, effective implementation of QMS/SMS, regulatory compliance, and continuous operational improvement across the fleet.Key Responsibilities- Implement, maintain, and update the Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) in line with company and regulatory requirements. - Conduct internal audits of vessels and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. - Analyze and monitor risk management data to ensure effective control measures are in place. - Ensure vessels comply with statutory regulations, flag state, class, and international maritime legislation. - Brief shipboard personnel on company policies, procedures, documentation, and safety requirements. - Carry out crew performance appraisals and provide guidance for professional development. - Monitor compliance with organizational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. - Propose and implement improvements to operational workflows to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.Looking For- Master Mariner (Class I COC) with sailing experience on Chemical and Oil/Chem Tankers. - Strong knowledge of ISM Code, QMS, SMS, and tanker-specific regulatory requirements.
