The role involvesdesign and electromagnetic analysis of motorsusing tools likeAnsys Motor CAD, Maxwell, and Speed software , along with responsibilities intesting, validation, benchmarking, and prototype development . You will lead the design and development ofPMSM, BLDC, SRM, Induction, and PMDC motorsfor EV and special applications, includingthermal analysis and cooling methods . Key Responsibilities Electrical design of motors & electromagnetic analysis using FE tools. Develop methods to improve electric machines through advanced materials and design algorithms. Stay updated on global technology trends, regulations, and implement new innovations. Testing and validation of motors as per industry standards. Benchmarking for performance, quality, cost, and weight optimization. Solve complex electrical design problems and guide prototype building & motor winding. Collaborate with vehicle integration teams, customers, and vendors. Qualifications & Competencies Degree inElectrical Engineering . 7–10 years of design experiencein the electric motor industry. Strong knowledge ofEV drivetrainsand electrical machine design. Hands-on experience withFE tools(Ansys Motor CAD, Maxwell 2D/3D, Speed). Expertise inPMSM, BLDC, SRM & Induction Motorsfor 2W/3W EV applications. Knowledge of winding techniques, magnetic materials, motor assembly, and control strategies. Familiarity withNEMA & IEC standardsfor 1Ph & 3Ph motors. Passion for electric machines, drivetrains, and e-mobility. Flexibility to travel as per business needs.
