Senior Application Engineer (HVAC – Unitary & Inverter Products)Location: Sharjah, UAE/ OnsiteExperience: 7–10 yearsAbout the Role:We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer with strong HVAC manufacturing experience to manage technical processes, product development, and compliance with international standards.Key Responsibilities- Work Order Processing: Prepare work orders for standard and customized jobs, verify drawings, maintain job history, and process modification requests. - Prepare BOM, Catalogues, IOM, Technical Data & Specification Sheets. - Check and evaluate SKM Selection Software and catalogue ratings. - Modify and customize products as per customer requirements through CRF (Contract Review Form). - Drive product improvements and new developments for Unitary Products & Inverter Technology Products. - Provide technical support to Sales, Production, After-Sales, and assist with product certifications. - Review and optimize products during testing for qualification and certification. - Monitor and control multi-level BOM preparation.Core & Competitive Abilities- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. - Experience: 3–5 years in HVAC application/design and product development in an AC manufacturing company. - Knowledge: - HVAC Equipment Design, Testing & Diagnostics - Component Selection & Design - HVAC Regulations & Standards - Skills: - HVAC product design and process improvement - Testing & certification to regional/international standards - BOM preparation and component layout design - Leadership, communication, and problem-solving - Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, ERP systemsBehaviorsCustomer Oriented | Teamwork | Result Driven | Time Management | Attention to DetailPreferred Background- Experience in HVAC manufacturing plants (not distributors or contractors). - Familiarity with ducted split systems, package units, inverter technology, and laboratory testing. - Knowledge of regional regulations: ESMA, MoIAT, QCC, EWA, MEW, SASO.Apply now and be part of SKM’s journey of Sales excellence!
