Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer (Solid Edge)Location: PuneWork Mode: In CampusExperience: 2–4 YearsContract Duration: Minimum 6 MonthsStart Date: Immediate / As per availabilityJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Solid Edge to support design, development, and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Roles & Responsibilities- Create detailed 2D drawings, assembly drawings, and 3D models using Solid Edge - Revise and update existing models and drawings as per design changes - Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to develop cost-effective and efficient designs - Maintain an organized database of drawings and related documentation - Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and propose resolutions for component or product issues - Create and update Bills of Materials (BoM) for new and existing products - Select and apply appropriate materials, finishes, and weld procedures - Coordinate with Project Management and Supply Chain teams to provide design updates and clarificationsRequired Experience & Technical Skills- Strong hands-on experience with Solid Edge (Part, Assembly, and Draft files) - Good working knowledge of Teamcenter - Ability to source and use technical data from catalogs, vendors, and online resources - Proficiency in BoM creation and maintaining model and drawing relationships - Good understanding of stack-up analysis, dimensional analysis, and GD&TCandidate Profile- Qualification: Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or related discipline - Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical designIdeal Attributes- Strong learning mindset and ability to become a Subject Matter Expert quickly - Experience working in a high-paced, startup or innovative environment - Good communication and collaboration skillsHow to ApplyInterested candidates can apply via LinkedIn or share their reume at kalyani.girase@
