Role: Senior / Lead AWS Cloud Architect Location: Hyderabad Day 1 Onsite Type:Full-time Experience:8+ years (with deep experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and solution architecture)Overview: We are hiring aSenior / Lead AWS Cloud Architectto design, implement, and manage robust, secure, and scalable cloud architectures across our web, mobile, data, and backend systems. This role demands extensive experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, application hosting, and cloud-native design principles. You’ll lead cloud strategy and implementation across infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, monitoring, and data platforms — with a focus on automation, security, and performance.Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Strategy Design and implement scalable, cost-efficient, and securecloud architecturesfor web, mobile, and backend applications. Leadsolution architecturefor new projects includingcompute, storage, networking, and data services . Define and document architectural patterns and cloud best practices across the organization. Guide cloud modernization and migration efforts, including monolith-to-microservices transitions and cloud-native application design. Infrastructure & DevOps Engineering Build and manage cloud infrastructure usingInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such asTerraformorAWS CloudFormation . Set up and maintainCI/CD pipelines , containerized deployments (Docker), and orchestration (ECS, EKS, etc.). Implementmonitoring, alerting, and loggingusingAWS CloudWatch ,SonarQube , and other observability tools. Managesecret storage , configuration, and access controls usingAWS Secrets Manager , Parameter Store, and IAM. Data & Storage Architecture Architect and manage scalable data pipelines and storage solutions usingS3 ,Athena ,Glue ,DynamoDB ,RDS , andData Lake . Define data governance, retention, and lifecycle policies for structured and unstructured data. Optimize access, querying, and integration of datasets across cloud-native services. Security & Networking Enforce secure access controls,VPC architecture ,network segmentation , andfirewall rules . Implement and monitorcloud security best practices , identity management (IAM roles and policies), encryption at rest/in transit, and compliance standards. Review and enforce application and infrastructure security, threat detection, and vulnerability management.Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles, with at least 5 years onAWS . Deep hands-on experience with: Compute : EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS Storage : S3, EFS, Glacier Data : Athena, Glue, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift Networking : VPC, Route 53, API Gateway, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) Security : IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, GuardDuty DevOps : CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, SonarQube Strong understanding ofweb/mobile architecture , API hosting, application scaling, and mobile backend services. Proficient inTerraform ,CloudFormation , or other infrastructure automation tools.Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications such asAWS Solutions Architect – ProfessionalorDevOps Engineer . Familiarity with container platforms (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless services. Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-account enterprise architectures. Experience integrating with frontend and mobile engineering teams for full-stack deployment strategies. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with the ability to design and justify architectural decisions. Excellent documentation and communication skills for both technical and business audiences. Proactive collaborator who works well across engineering, product, and security teams. Ability to mentor junior DevOps and cloud engineers, promote cloud best practices, and lead cross-functional projects.
