Job Description

Construction Manager (Mechanical/Civil) with MEP Experience Candidate should have experience in FMCG/PHARMA/BEVARAGES INDUSTRIES/ INDUSTRIAL PROJECTSExperience in FMCG / Pharma / Food / Beverages Projects Manage the construction contractors to ensure compliance of P&G construction Safety standards.Managing overall operations for executing projects related to construction of various buildings and complexes within cost & time parameters.Estimation and costing, quantity surveying and project costing. Monitoring projects with respect to demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects as per drawing.client & consultant on contractual matters regarding progress of works, conducting meetings with present situations and other construction issues.Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.Looking and guidance for all the qualities documents and safety. Manage the application of construction quality management Plan.Provide guidance and supervision to contractors to construct product as per the drawings and specifications, interpret contract documents, and assure the construction organization has all necessary resources.Has proficiency in MS project, cost estimation and can conduct constructability studies independently. Manage and lead design development for any new requirements or changes/amendments to current design with key consulting and designing firms as needed. Manage the development, tracking and execution of schedule by working closing with contractor and Key P&G contacts.Supervise the contractor to maintain the housekeeping standards at project areas. Coordinate with contractor that adequate staffing level is maintained.Coordinate the change management process between the contractor and the owner for major tool/equipment/Field Instructions.Manage the quantity survey process and verification of contractor's bills/claims. Validate mobilization and demobilization plans for the various subcontractors. Furnish construction report to the P&G PM, Construction Manager, and appropriate resources on a weekly basis.Provide value addition in term of time, cost, and quality by providing constructability improvements.Coordinate the procurement process of necessary materials/equipment's with help of Project manager and coordinate with the vendors for delivery.Manage construction-startup team interface between equipment installation team and operations team. Supervise completion of the punch list/PSU items within agreed timelines.Quantity surveying and Vendor Running Bill verification. Covid Guidelines: Understands the safety standards pertaining to Covid as defined by the plant occupational health and incorporates the same in the project execution plan.
