Your work will make history and help millions of lives each day come together around the joys of food and inspire their well-being.Position Title: Staff Engineer CloudJob Description:Roles & responsibilities:Provide technical consulting to peer groups and management on infrastructure, OS, and subsystemsEvaluate vendor software and contribute to RFP, POT, and POC effortsDefine and implement efficient, cost-effective solutions for complex infrastructure needsCollaborate across teams to understand IT requirements and business challengesConsult on and lead implementation of innovative cloud technologies aligned to strategic goalsDefine architecture approaches and design solutions that are scalable and reusableEnsure adherence to architecture/design standards, security, and complianceDrive analysis, design, and planning for solution implementationsRecommend enhancements to existing software to optimize performance and operationsMaintain awareness of emerging tools and technologies to drive innovationTranslate business functionalities into technical design and implementation plansTake hands-on ownership of engineering tasks and documentation processesWork with project managers in coming up with project plan and WBS, define work breakdown structures, and phase approachesIdentify automation opportunities and develop scripts for repeatable engineering tasksProvide 4th-level support for complex issues, including vendor coordination and escalationGuide the team in product validation, release testing, and performance tuningPlan systems software/hardware specifications and customizationsContribute to the technology roadmap and long-term execution strategyLead by example and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreamsMentor less experienced engineers and resolve complex production issuesDirect infrastructure project teams and ensure delivery alignmentExperience Required: In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and platformsDeep expertise in infrastructure as code, cloud automation, and peer review of code/scriptsProven experience across multiple technology domains and toolsetsAdvanced knowledge of operating systems, middleware, databases, and integration toolingStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with precisionStrong organizational and troubleshooting experience in large-scale environmentsStrong ability to understand client and management expectation and resolve issues that may affect deliveryAbility to manage cross-functional expectations and deliver under ambiguityExperience leading distributed teams and working across global time zonesDemonstrated ability to elevate team capabilities through coaching and enablementSelf-motivated, eager to learn and lead through exampleCommitted to continuous improvement, inclusive mindset, and innovationCompetencies:Compassionate and kind, showing courtesy, dignity, and respect.
