Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Industry: Manufacturing Location: India Experience: 10–18 years (minimum 5–7 years in senior finance leadership) ⸻ Job Purpose The CFO will be responsible for strategic financial leadership, ensuring strong financial controls, cost efficiency, compliance, fund management, and supporting business growth in a manufacturing environment. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy & Leadership • Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with business goals • Act as a strategic partner to MD/CEO and Board • Support expansion plans, capex, mergers, and acquisitions • Drive profitability, ROCE, EBITDA improvement ⸻ 2. Accounting, Audit & Compliance • Oversee statutory, internal, cost & tax audits • Ensure compliance with: • Companies Act • GST, Income Tax, Customs • FEMA, RBI (if exports/imports involved) • Finalization of monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements • Liaison with auditors, banks, consultants, and regulators ⸻ 3. Manufacturing Costing & Controls • Implement and monitor: • Product costing • Standard costing & variance analysis • Inventory & WIP controls • Improve cost efficiency in: • Raw materials • Power & fuel • Logistics • Plant overheads • Strengthen MIS & ERP systems ⸻ 4. Treasury, Banking & Fund Management • Manage working capital, cash flows, and liquidity • Handle banking relationships: • CC limits • Term loans • LC/BG • Optimize interest cost and funding structure • Support fund raising (debt/equity if required) ⸻ 5. Budgeting, MIS & Reporting • Lead annual budgeting & forecasting • Review monthly MIS, variance analysis & corrective actions • Provide decision-oriented financial insights to management • KPI tracking for plant & business performance ⸻ 6. Taxation (Direct & Indirect) • Strategic planning for: • GST optimization & compliance • Income tax assessments • Transfer pricing (if applicable) • Manage tax litigation & notices • Ensure timely returns and reconciliations ⸻ 7.
