About The ArtmentThe Artment is one of India’s fastest-growing home & living brands, building a design-led ecosystem of contemporary décor, lighting, furniture, and lifestyle products.We combine modern aesthetics with artistic expression, backed by a strong data-driven product development engine and deep supply-chain integration across India’s leading craft clusters (Moradabad, Khurja, Firozabad, Jodhpur, etc.).The brand has been featured on Shark Tank India, is venture-funded, and has a multi-channel presence—our own website, quick-commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart), marketplaces (Amazon, etc.), and offline retail expansion at leading hotels (ITC, Taj Group).As we scale rapidly, building a world-class financial reporting and MIS infrastructure is core to our next phase of growth—and this role is central to that mission.Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly capable, process-driven Senior Finance Manager to lead the execution and implementation of a robust, accurate, and scalable financial reporting system at Artment.The role covers MIS design, revenue and expense reporting, stock reporting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial controls—creating a clean, standardized, and automated finance backbone for the organization.This role will also manage and mentor the existing finance team, ensuring smooth daily operations and consistent adherence to newly created SOPs and controls.Key Responsibilities1. MIS & Financial ReportingImplement and manage the MIS structure across the organisation.Deliver timely and accurate daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports.Standardize reporting formats for all departments.Build dashboards for revenue, profitability, expenses, cash flow, inventory & working capital.2. Revenue Reporting & ReconciliationsOwn channel-wise revenue reporting (website, Amazon, quick-commerce, marketplaces, offline).Implement automation and accuracy checks.Lead reconciliations (payments, returns, commissions, GST, TCS, settlements).Build daily and monthly closure SOPs.3. Expense & Cost ReportingBuild structured expense classification and cost frameworks.Track operating expenses, marketing spends, overheads, and variances.Partner with marketing, procurement, and operations for accurate cost mapping.4. Inventory & Stock ReportingImplement inventory MIS (weekly & monthly).Oversee stock valuation, costing, ageing & reconciliations.Ensure accurate procurement-to-warehouse-to-sale visibility.5. Month-End Closing & ControlsDrive disciplined month-end closing cycles.Implement checks, controls, and documentation across finance processes.Strengthen working capital visibility across cash, stock, receivables, and payables.6. Process Creation & AutomationBuild scalable SOPs across all finance workflows.Identify automation opportunities (Tally, API integrations, Sheets automation, dashboards).Create a process-led system independent of individuals.7. Team Management & DevelopmentLead and manage the existing finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution.Train, mentor, and upskill team members on new SOPs and systems.Monitor performance and ensure discipline, accuracy, and timelines across the department.Qualifications & SkillsCA Qualified/ MBA Finance / with strong reporting and MIS experience.4–8 years of experience in finance operations, reporting, or controllership roles.Strong command over Tally, Excel/Google Sheets, reconciliations.Experience in D2C, retail, e-commerce, or FMCG is preferred.Proven team management skills.Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
