Job Title: MIS Executive – FinanceLocation: GurugramExperience Required: 1–2 yearsJob Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance MIS Executive to join our finance team. This role focuses on preparing accurate financial reports, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and delivering insightful Management Information System (MIS) reports that support finance operations and decision-making. The ideal candidate will be strong in Excel, comfortable with large datasets, and capable of creating meaningful financial insights.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly financial MIS reports for finance and management reviewAnalyze financial data to provide insights on performance, trends, and anomalies that support business decisionsPerform financial reconciliations (e.g., bank, ledger, accounts receivable/payable) to ensure data accuracy and integrityCreate and update dashboards and performance trackers for key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, costs, cash flows)Manage and maintain financial databases, ensuring clean and consistent data for reportingAutomate reports to improve efficiency using Excel formulas, Macros, or similar toolsCoordinate with finance stakeholders (e.g., accounting, operations) to collect required data and validate figuresIdentify data gaps or errors and recommend corrective actions to enhance data quality and reporting accuracySupport month-end, quarter-end, and audit processes by preparing reconciliations and supporting documentationRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, MIS reporting, or similar rolesAdvanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, SUMIF/S, conditional formatting, data validation, and reporting automationStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detailUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and financial statement componentsAbility to reconcile large sets of financial data with accuracyExcellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teamsDeadline-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressurePreferred (Not Mandatory)Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other financial visualization toolsBasic knowledge of SQL or database querying for data extractionExposure to ERP/Accounting systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho BooksKnowledge of financial ratios and performance metrics interpretationUnderstanding of reconciliation best practices and internal controls
