Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager Location: Bangalore Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience: Fresher Department: Finance & Accounts Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support end-to-end finance and accounting operations. The role involves financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, audit support, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Review monthly accounting records, intercompany reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end book closure. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Assist in the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements. Support audit processes and ensure timely audit closure. Budgeting & Analysis Prepare annual budgets, budget vs. actual analysis, and detailed variance reports. Assist in variance analysis and maintain proper documentation for management review. Compliance & Taxation Ensure timely filing of all applicable statutory and regulatory compliances. Compute and monitor advance tax payments. Coordinate with Company Secretary (CS) for ROC, RBI, and other regulatory filings. Accounts Receivable & Payable Manage accounts receivable, monitor collections, and follow up for timely payments. Oversee accounts payable processes and maintain vendor management trackers. Cash Flow & Treasury Monitor and manage company cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity. Prepare and maintain a 6-month rolling cash flow forecast with a target of 90-day accuracy. Liaise with bankers and investors for financial and operational requirements. Stakeholder Communication & Management Support Act as a key point of contact for financial communication within and outside the organization. Prepare and share weekly financial status updates with clients. Schedule and coordinate monthly management meetings to discuss financial performance and business status. Administrative Support Perform general administrative and operational tasks to support the finance department as required. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Hands-on experience or working knowledge of ZOHO Books and Winman Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Candidate Profile Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Fresher Detail-oriented with a strong learning mindset Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
