Position: MEP EngineerDepartment: ProjectsLocation: BangaloreLocation: HSR, BangaloreInterview Criteria: Interview Mode will be Face to Face only (No Virtual Interview or Online Interviews)Role OverviewThe MEP Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, execution, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for the facility/project. The role ensures all MEP works comply with safety standards, quality guidelines, statutory requirements, and project timelines.Key Responsibilities:1. Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing SystemsOversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and low-voltage systems.Review MEP drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and shop drawings.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for executing MEP works as per design.Monitor the performance of MEP equipment such as UPS, DG, AHU, FCU, pumps, panels, etc.Handover support & Report Preparation During Handover2. Project Execution & SupervisionConduct regular site inspections to ensure MEP works are executed as per approved plans.Track project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.Verify material quality, installation standards, and vendor compliance.Assist in preparing work schedules, method statements, and SOPs.3. Operations & MaintenanceEnsure preventive and corrective maintenance of all MEP systems.Troubleshoot MEP issues and provide immediate resolution.Maintain asset inventory, AMC schedules, and maintenance records.Optimize energy consumption and support sustainability initiatives.pliance & DocumentationEnsure adherence to IS standards, safety norms, and statutory regulations.Maintain documentation including inspection reports, test certificates, and maintenance logs.Support audits related to facility operations and safety compliance.5. Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate with vendors for service delivery and technical support.Evaluate vendor performance and support procurement of MEP materials.Liaise with clients, architects, and interdisciplinary teams for smooth coordination.6.Technical Services (Hard Services)Knowledge of electrical safety and precautionary measures.Basic understanding of LT panel, DBs, MCBs, and fuses.Checking & replacing light fixtures, switches, and sockets.Basic troubleshooting of power supply issues.Monitoring DG set, UPS, and battery health (support level).Coordination with electricians for major breakdowns.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing networks.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Hands-on experience with MEP installations and troubleshooting.Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design software (preferred).Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Qualification & ExperienceDiploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical EEE Engineering.5–8 years of experience in MEP engineering, operations, or project execution.Electrical Supervisor License required
