Job Title: ConsultantRole Overview:As a Consultant at The Digital Fifth, you will play a critical role in driving digitaltransformation for banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and financial institutions. This role requires astrong understanding of financial services, digital technologies, and business strategy. Youwill be involved in crafting digital roadmaps, executing research-driven insights, managingclient engagements, and contributing to business growth. Working in a startup environment,you must be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.Key Responsibilities:Strategy & Digital Transformation:• Develop digital, business, and growth strategies for banks, NBFCs, fintechs, andother financial institutions.• Design digital transformation roadmaps and build digital business models, backed byin-depth research and industry analysis.• Research and build upon product ideation and Product Life Cycle Managementinitiatives to enhance offerings.• Drive new product development initiatives, identifying market opportunities anddigital use cases.Research & Thought Leadership:• Conduct deep-dive market research on financial services, fintech trends, andregulatory developments.• Create industry reports, whitepapers, and insights to support consultingassignments.• Develop marketing content, blogs, and social media engagements on fintech anddigital banking topics.Program & Client Management:• Work closely with clients to design and implement digital business models andtransformation programs.• Manage key customer relationships, gathering insights and ensuring successfuldelivery of consulting projects.• Act as a bridge between technology, business teams, and stakeholders, ensuringseamless execution of projects.Pre-Sales & Business Development:• Support the sales team in crafting proposals and conceptualizing solutions based onclient needs.• Assist in workshops, pitches, and client discussions, providing data-backedrecommendations.• Work on integrated fintech solutions, collaborating with startups, financialinstitutions, and regulators.Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:• Education: B.Tech + MBA preferred.• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fintech, digital transformation, or consulting rolewithin banks/NBFCs/financial institutions is essential.• Strong Understanding of digital banking, payments, lending, wealth, and fintechecosystems• Experience in working with APIs, automation, mobility, AI/ML, cloud computing,and other digital technologies.• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing digital solutions across thecustomer lifecycle.• Knowledge of local regulatory compliance for digital initiatives and ability to provideguidance to technology teams.• Strong quantitative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability tolead projects and negotiate business deals.• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage ambiguity, and work in a fast-pacedstartup environment.• Adaptability & Learning Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolvingenvironment.• Ownership & Initiative: Proactively take charge of assignments and drive them tocompletion.• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work effectively with cross-functionalteams and clients.• Innovation & Creativity: Apply new ideas and approaches to solve complexproblems.• Proficiency in business analysis, data interpretation, and exploratory research fordriving business decisions.• Willingness to travel and engage in client-facing rolesLocation: Mumbai / Client SiteCompensation: Competitive salary with performance-based bonus.Why Join The Digital Fifth?• Startup Culture: Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, high-impact environmentwith exposure to cutting-edge fintech innovations.• Diverse Exposure: Work with leading banks, NBFCs, fintechs, investors, and largetechnology firms on high-profile projects.• End-to-End Consulting Experience: Involvement in strategy, research,implementation, and execution of digital transformation programs.• Leadership & Growth Opportunities: Be part of a high-performance team whereyour contributions directly shape industry-wide digital transformation.
