Job Title: Senior Quantity Estimator / Quantity SurveyorLocation: Malad, MumbaiExperience: 8+ YearsQualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil EngineeringJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Estimator with a strong background in government infrastructure and large-scale commercial projects. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and billing for projects such as hospitals, data centers, schools, institutes, and warehouses.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions.Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications for government and commercial projects.Prepare rate analysis, cost comparisons, and budget estimates.Handle RA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements.Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost control.Monitor project costs and assist in variation orders, claims, and deviations.Ensure compliance with government norms, specifications, and standard schedules of rates (SOR).Support tendering activities including pre-bid queries, bid submissions, and negotiations.Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to quantities and costs.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of civil construction quantities and estimation.Experience with government projects and public sector tendering processes.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (preferred).Good understanding of commercial buildings such as hospitals, data centers, educational institutions, and warehouses.Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings and specifications.Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.Experience RequirementsMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience in quantity estimation and billing.Proven experience working on government and large commercial construction projects.Preferred AttributesExposure to PMC / EPC / contracting organizations.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail and cost accuracy.
