The Lock Desk Specialist is responsible for lock confirmations, locking loans, lock updates, relocks, lock extensions, managing email box and dashboard queuesJob RequirementsEducationAny bachelor’s degreeRoles and ResponsibilitiesGenerate Initial lock confirmation.Lock, extend, re-lock and re-price loans in the pricing engine and Loan Origination System as needed, ensuring pricing calculations are correct.Monitor Encompass dashboard queues and ensure timely completion of tasksProvide support to mortgage staff for pricing inquiries, post lock questions/inquiriesAssist with system enhancement/update testingRate Lock or Pricing Desk experience preferredKnowledge of current regulatory compliance requirementsAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentialityPresent self in a professional manner and can interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts appropriatelyProficient in MS Office including Word and ExcelAbility to complete responsibilities effectively and efficiently with minimal directionEnsure SLA’s are met for initial underwrites, condition, and final condition reviews through effective pipeline management - DeleteImpeccable written and verbal communicationManage daily tasks to ensure business needs are consistently met
