Position : Microsoft Copilot Studio Architect Experience : 15Yrs Notice Period : Immediate Joiner The Microsoft Copilot Studio Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and scaling Copilot-based solutions across the organisation. This role owns the end-to-end architecture of Copilot Studio implementations, including solution design, environment strategy, security and compliance, integration with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365, and alignment with business outcomes. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to identify high-value use cases, design responsible AI experiences, and establish patterns, standards, and guardrails that enable safe, scalable AI adoption. This includes leading the overall Copilot and AI operating model (Centre of Excellence, governance, ALM) and coaching teams to build and sustain best-in-class Copilot solutions. Key Responsibilities Define and own the Copilot Studio architecture and blueprint , including environment strategy, solution patterns, and reference architectures for different business scenarios. Lead discovery and use‑case definition with business stakeholders, mapping processes and pain points to Copilot Studio capabilities and related Power Platform / Dynamics 365 features. Design secure, compliant Copilot experiences , including data access, DLP, responsible AI controls, and alignment with organisational policies. Architect and oversee integrations between Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party systems via connectors, APIs, and plugins. Establish and maintain governance, standards, and best practices for Copilot Studio development, including solution templates, component libraries, and re‑usable skills. Collaborate with security, compliance, and architecture boards to ensure Copilot solutions meet regulatory, privacy, and risk management requirements. Define and implement ALM and DevOps practices for Copilot solutions (environments, solution packaging, versioning, CI/CD). Partner with product owners and business leads to define KPIs and success metrics , monitor solution performance, and drive continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership and coaching to developers, makers, and business technologists building with Copilot Studio and the Power Platform. Act as a trusted advisor on Microsoft AI & Copilot strategy , keeping abreast of roadmap changes and recommending how to leverage new features. Contribute to or lead an AI / Copilot Centre of Excellence , including intake processes, pattern catalogues, and enablement materials. Essential Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong, demonstrable experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (or Power Virtual Agents/custom GPTs / conversational AI platforms) in an architectural or lead role. Deep understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and its role in AI-driven solutions. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, or other workloads), and how Copilot extends these products. Familiarity with Azure services relevant to AI and integration, such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Cognitive Services. Strong grasp of data architecture and integration patterns , including REST APIs, webhooks, connectors, and data virtualisation. Practical experience with security, identity, and compliance in the Microsoft ecosystem (Entra ID, role-based access control, DLP policies, information protection). Understanding of responsible AI principles , prompt design/prompt engineering, grounding, retrieval‑augmented generation, and content filtering. Experience setting up ALM / DevOps for Power Platform and Copilot solutions , including managed solutions, environment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. Architecture & Delivery Skills Proven experience as a Solution Architect , Technical Lead, or similar role delivering complex Microsoft cloud solutions. Ability to translate business requirements into target architectures , solution designs, and implementation roadmaps. Strong documentation skills : architectural diagrams, solution designs, standards, and decision records. Experience working in agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborating with product owners, BAs, and engineering teams. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and IT leaders. Ability to coach business users, citizen developers, and technical teams on: Identifying and shaping Copilot use cases Writing effective prompts and system messages Best practices for testing, monitoring, and improving AI behaviours Experience creating enablement materials (playbooks, quick‑start guides, templates, and patterns) for Copilot Studio and Power Platform. Background in change management or organisational adoption (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR or similar frameworks) applied to AI and automation programs. Experience running workshops and training sessions to improve AI literacy, responsible AI understanding, and day-to-day Copilot usage. Strong evangelism skills : able to communicate a compelling vision for AI, showcase success stories, and build momentum across the business. Experience mentoring internal teams to build self-sufficiency and internal capability around Copilot and AI. Typical Background 5+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise application delivery, ideally within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem . Hands-on experience delivering Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Microsoft 365 solutions, with at least 1–2 years focused on Copilot / AI capabilities. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Architect, Dynamics 365 Solution Architect, AI Engineer ) are highly desirable.
