Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and managing medications while ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role plays a key part in delivering efficient pharmacy operations and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications. Accurately label, package, and store medications as per guidelines. Process prescriptions and verify patient and insurance information. Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and expiry tracking. Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation. Handle billing, insurance claims, and prescription refills where applicable. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, safety standards, and protocols. Support customer service by addressing patient queries and concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area. Assist in audits and regulatory inspections. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field. Valid Pharmacy Technician license or registration, as applicable. 1+ years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment. Knowledge of medication names, dosage forms, and pharmacy procedures. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Basic computer skills and experience with pharmacy management systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
