Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Business Process AutomationAt Deluxe Media, we are dedicated to driving operational efficiency through advanced technology. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Data Analyst / AI Automation Developer to join our Data Services team.This role will design, develop, and deliver AI-driven, agentic automation solutions that enhance business processes such as reporting, reconciliation, data processing, forecasting, and workflows. You will apply prompt engineering, context engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) principles to design intelligent, auditable, and explainable AI workflows that deliver measurable impact to finance, HR, operations, sales, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild Copilot Studio Copilots and integrate them within Power Platform applications (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Microsoft 365 Apps (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) to create conversational and intelligent assistants. Build workflow orchestrations with humans in the loop (HIL) for review, approval, and feedback.Build AI-driven automation solutions across multiple business departments. Design, develop, and integrate agentic AI workflows for process automation, leveraging Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI APIs and other AI frameworks to optimize core operations.Apply prompt engineering and context engineering techniques to design AI workflows that ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant outputs across various business functions. Use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to ground responses with enterprise data sources.Craft secure, scalable solutions integrating data from ERP systems (SAP), enterprise workflow systems, external APIs, and Excel documents. Leverage Python to build scalable automation scripts for data wrangling, integration with ERP systems, custom applications, and other third-party APIs. Use Python for orchestrating workflows, managing data pipelines, and building AI-assisted analytics models.Support financial planning and forecasting models through data-driven insights and AI-assisted analytics.Ensure all solutions meet corporate standards for data governance, security, and auditability.Mentor analysts and developers on best practices in AI workflow design, Power Platform development, and prompt engineering.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, finance, or data scienceProfessional Experience:5+ years of experience in data analysis and business process automation across multiple departments (finance, operations, HR, etc.).5+ years of hands-on experience with Excel (advanced formulas, VBA macros, data validation, Power Query).4–5 years developing automation and low-code solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).2-3 years hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI API for AI agent development.1-2 years’ hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and flows for building workflow automations.Technical Skills:Expertise inprompt engineering — crafting structured prompts, few-shot examples, and output templates for consistent LLM responses.Proficiency in context engineering — designing context pipelines that feed relevant data, metadata, and user intent into AI workflows.Strong understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) grounding model responses with enterprise data sources and document retrieval mechanisms.Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation logic, data wrangling, and API integration.Familiarity with Azure AI, OpenAI models, and REST/GraphQL APIs. Exposure to MCP based solutions.Soft Skills:Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business efficiency.Ability to mentor junior staff and foster a culture of innovation in AI and automation across departments.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer AssociateCopilot Studio certificationsAI / LangChain developer certifications
