Company Description YNAPS is a global business group that encompasses diverse ventures such as NGF132  ( Featuring in Shark Tank India Season-5  )With offices in Spain, the USA, and India, YNAPS emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and delivering impactful results. Joining bonus:   Harley-Davidson X440  / Royal Enfield  Senior Backend Engineer (Realtime + Scale + Production Ownership) Realtime Systems (Tracking + ETA) About the role Own the end to end backend and production for a real-time ETA (dairy/food collection-to warehouse), multi-tenant platform that streams live location data and delivers accurate ETAs at scale. Your responsibility is to design, ship, and operate  the backend so real-time updates + ETA remain reliable, low-latency, secure, and cost-controlled  at large scale, and mentor team. What you’ll do   1) Architecture + Delivery Plan Design the full scalable system blueprint (data model, APIs, realtime flow, auth, cost-control) and define a clear staging→production rollout with reliability guardrails so the team can implement confidently. 2) Realtime Location + Fan-out Build the collector GPS ingestion pipeline (validated + throttled) and stream updates only to authorized subscribers, ensuring reconnect/late-join/resume works smoothly under peak load. 3) ETA Engine + Cost Control Deliver stable, accurate ETA without excessive Maps calls by using caching/route snapshots/periodic recalibration (and client-assist where useful), with graceful fallback behavior during traffic/maps failures. 4) Alerts + Notifications Implement 10-min and 5-min arrival alerts with anti-spam debouncing, delivered through in-app events and push notifications (FCM/APNS) reliably at scale. 5) Multi-tenant Security Enforce strict tenant isolation across auth/API/DB, secure collector onboarding/auth (token/QR with rotation), and prevent abuse via rate limiting and protections against replay/spoofing/tenant hopping. 6) Production Ownership Own shipping quality: CI/CD, environment config, monitoring/alerts/dashboards, reliability patterns (idempotency/retries/rollback), and load testing + performance tuning for peak window s. 7) Mentor team Provide strong backend contracts, review and guide implementations, and keep delivery fast but maintainable by enforcing clean patterns and production-grade standards. Tech stack (AWS or GCP — both accepted) We are flexible on cloud provider. You should be strong in one  and comfortable mapping concepts to the other. Compute (preferred): Containers (Docker ) on managed compute (AWS ECS/Fargate / GCP Cloud Run) Kubernetes knowledge is a bonus (EKS/GKE), not mandatory on day 1 Data + messaging (one or more): SQL (Postgres/MySQL) or  NoSQL (Firestore/DynamoDB) Pub/Sub or queues (GCP Pub/Sub / AWS SQS/SNS/EventBridge) Caching (Redis / Memorystore / ElastiCache) when needed Backend language (any one strong): Node.js / Go / Java / Python Infrastructure and devops: CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins) IaC (Terraform strongly preferred) Must-have experience ( — apply only if true) You must have done the following in production: 4+ years backend experience building real-time or event-driven  systems in production. Built a realtime update  system (tracking/chat/live dashboards/streaming) with meaningful load Operated a backend through spiky traffic windows  (peak load > average load) Built cost-sensitive systems (reduced infra or API costs using caching/batching/client-server split) Owned CI/CD + monitoring + alerts + rollback for a production app Worked on geolocation/ETA/route-like problems (nice-to-have but strong plus) Nice-to-have  Google Maps APIs knowledge (Directions/Distance Matrix/Traffic) + cost controls Experience with fleet/logistics/mobility/delivery systems. Profound with Claude or any similar AI coding infrastructure.
