POSITION PURPOSEThe Test Manager / Test Program Manager will ensure test execution, ownership, management and drive across various partners for the said testing service offerings. They are expected to demonstrate vital knowledge of processes, procedures, principles, and concepts related to functional and test automation with 40% reduction in testing time for critical business applications.In addition to technical expertise, their deep understanding of the organization, competition, and industry is vital in aligning functional and test automation strategies with business goals to ensure a seamless integration of new features, resulting in a 10% increase in user engagement.Their responsibility for building and managing a testing team comprising both permanent and contract test resources within their managerial scope requires thought leadership and an ability to lead a team through a complex testing phase, resulting in a successful product launch with zero critical defects reported by partners.This role requires the ability to analyze complex testing scenarios, drive transformation, and innovate solutions such as leading the implementation of a new automated testing approach that significantly reduced post-release defects to 7%.This role has a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of ouAXA GBS’sr testing service offerings. For example, their leadership in implementing functional and test automation will result in a 10% increase in overall testing productivity.Effective communication and collaboration within and outside the organization are crucial. For instance, their ability to build strong partnerships with development teams, resulting in a 10% reduction in time to market for new product features.4. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESStrong project management skills with experience in insurance domain, and proven expertise in managing end-to-end deliveries,requirement gathering, release planning, effort tracking, design & development, testing and UAT support, production deployment and project maintenance activitiesExcellent experience in SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/WaterfallStrong experience in overseeing Functional, Automation and Non-Functional testing from delivery point of viewProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment demonstrating team work, innovation and excellenceBuild and maintain relationship by engaging business owners / product owners to establish credibility, solve problem, build consensus and achieve objectivesMust have a good understanding of financial reportingPlanning and Executing the recruitment and onboarding of associates to build teams from scratchManage program scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the projectEstablishment and maintenance of organizational delivery excellence strategy, Preparing program / project strategy and Plan, Dev/Test environments availability, maintenance, and coordinate code deployment schedulesExpertise in proactively refining delivery processes, enhancing business transparency, and fostering effective cross-departmental collaborationStrong experience in creating master agreement for project, scope of work documentation as well as amendmentsStrong collaboration with business partners to gather requirements and negotiations on efforts and budgetingExperience in creating release plan considering the requirements & risks and formulating mitigating plan Experience in coordinating and driving post production activities with business colleagues and IT stakeholdersEnable team to embrace innovation and technological changes as requiredManage and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and locationsEnsure that testing meets all quality standards and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication and coordination across various stakeholder management along with experience in multi-vendor management 5. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDExperienceBachelor's degree or Higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field15+ years of experience in software product quality engineering including test planning, implementation and execution, with 8+ years of experience in end-to-end program test management and delivery management in IT industrySignificant hands-on experience in project management and Agile/Scrum product development lifecycleDemonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skill combined with flexibility working in a dynamic, fast-moving product development environmentCollaborative but decisive personal style; highly effective communicator and problem solverStrong understanding of testing methodologies and best practicesFamiliarity with quality assurance and test management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, HP ALM etcSelf-motivated, ownership, passionate, ability to remain focused and calm under pressure
