// Urgent hiring for Senior Design Engineer //Location: Turbhe MIDC, Navi MumbaiJob Description – Senior Design Engineer- SPMExperience- 3 years (manufacturing & Engineering industries)Ctc- upto 4.2 lpa (depends on interview)Working Days- 6 days (9am-6:15 pm)Position DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer – SPM to lead themechanical design and development of custom automation systems and special purpose machines.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, a deep understanding ofmanufacturing processes, and the ability to lead engineering projects from concept tocommissioning.Responsibilities- Create detailed 3 D models of pharmaceuticals machine by understanding customer needs & specifications. - Use Cad software such as AutoCAD , to develop parts , assemblies & complete machine system - Ensure that designs are optimised for manufacturing process like CNC machining, sheet - metal, fabrication & welding. - Consider material selection , tolerance & ease of assembly - Work closely with Mechanical ,Electrical engineers & fabrication teams to integrate - mechanical system with automation & controls - Coordinate with quality assurance & regulatory teams to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)compliance - Generate 2D/3D fabrication drawings, BOMs (Bills of Material) & assembly instructions. - Modify standard design to meet customer- specific requirements such as size, output rate, material type & apace constrains - Participate in the prototyping phase, support the assembly team during initial bulks & suggest design improvements. Support machine trials, functional testing, and debugging. - Update 3 D model & documentation as part of product lifecycle management - Ensure machine design follows GMP regulations for pharmaceuticals equipment. - Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments. - Engage directly with clients to understand specifications and provide design solutions.Experience- 3 years of experience in Equipment and machinery manufacturing - 3 years of experience in CAD Design – 2D & 3D in Autodesk Inventor - Candidate with background in relevant Industrial/production/ Medical device manufacturing experience will be given preference.Skills / Competencies- Communication in English, Hindi (Must) and Regional/local language - Decision Making - Ownership - Problem Analysis / Solving - Results Driven - Teamwork Orientation - Managing communication between teams in disparate locationsTechnical and Domain Skills- B.TECH / Engineering ( Degree or Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering - Proficiency in CAD Design – 2D & 3D on Autodesk / Inventor platforms - Additional courses in CAD drafting - presentation of drawings etc - Understand equipment manufacturing and engineering design - Familiar with bearing, gears, fasteners, fits and tolerances etc - Additional courses in product design / Design Engineering - Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion controlKey Skill- Special Purpose Machine Design - Assembly Design - AutoCAD - Machine Drawing - 3D modelling SPM design
