Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Lab Manager at Precision Weldarc Ltd, located in Domjur. The Mechanical Lab Manager will oversee and conduct the daily operations of the laboratory, conduct quality control testing, and ensure the proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment like UTS machine, Impact Testing Machine, Hydrogen Test Machine and other mechanical lab equipments. They will lead research and development initiatives, implement testing protocols, and analyze results to ensure compliance with industry standards. The role also requires collaborating with the production and quality teams to support the company’s commitment to excellence in welding solutions. QualificationsProficiency in Quality Control and ability to evaluate processes to meet compliance standards.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in operating Laboratory Equipment like UTS machine, Impact Test Machine, Hydrogen Test Machine, etc and other Mechanical Laboratory Skills.Analytical Skills to interpret laboratory data and solve quality-related challenges.Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and improve products and procedures.Strong communication and leadership skills to manage team operations effectively.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling laboratory procedures with accuracy.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred.Prior experience in a laboratory management role or similar position in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
