Job Role: Chief Rolling Stock Expert Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - Post-Graduation preferred in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering - Strong technical foundation in Rolling Stock design, operations, and maintenance Experience Requirements: - Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Railway / Metro Rolling Stock - Experience must include Rolling Stock design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and interface management - At least 3 years of international experience working on Railway / Metro systems - Prior experience in senior technical advisory or expert roles preferred Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee all Rolling Stock–related activities for the project - Review design documents, technical specifications, and interface requirements - Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams - Provide expert guidance on Rolling Stock procurement, performance parameters, reliability, and safety standards - Ensure compliance with international norms, project specifications, and best engineering practices - Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of Rolling Stock - Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in technical negotiations - Provide periodic progress reports and recommendations to the client Skills & Competencies: - Strong expertise in Rolling Stock technology and system integration - Knowledge of international Railway/Metro standards - Excellent leadership and coordination abilities - Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills - Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
