Nursing in the relevant specialty from an INC-recognized institution. - Experience: Minimum 3 years to maximum 8 years of teaching and/or relevant clinical experience as per INC norms. - Registration: Valid registration with State Nursing Council is mandatory.Role OverviewThe M.Sc. Nursing faculty member will be responsible for advanced teaching, clinical supervision, student mentorship, academic planning, and compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC) and University regulations. The role also includes contribution to research, quality assurance, and institutional development.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Teaching- Deliver theory and practical classes for B.Sc. Nursing / GNM programs as per allotted specialty. - Prepare structured lesson plans, course outlines, and teaching aids aligned with INC syllabus. - Conduct internal assessments, practical examinations, seminars, and evaluations. - Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic and clinical learning.Clinical Supervision- Supervise students during clinical postings in affiliated hospitals and community health settings. - Ensure proper maintenance of clinical logbooks, case presentations, care plans, and records. - Monitor and enhance clinical competencies as per program outcomes.Research & Academic Development- Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and evidence-based practices (for M.Sc. programs). - Participate in research activities, publications, workshops, conferences, and CNE programs. - Support curriculum implementation and academic quality improvement initiatives.Administrative & Compliance- Maintain academic documentation, attendance, evaluation records, and reports as per INC/University norms. - Assist in INC inspections, University audits, accreditations, and statutory compliances. - Participate in departmental meetings, institutional committees, and academic planning.Student Mentoring & Discipline- Mentor students for academic progress, professional ethics, and career guidance. - Ensure discipline, punctuality, and adherence to institutional policies.Skills & Competencies- Strong subject expertise in the concerned nursing specialty. - Excellent teaching, communication, and mentoring skills. - Sound clinical judgment and leadership ability. - Familiarity with INC norms, research methodology, and academic documentation. - Proficiency in computers, academic ERP systems, and digital teaching tools.Reporting Authority- Principal, Himalayan Institute of NursingEmployment Type- Full-Time (On-campus)Compensation- As per HGPI norms, experience, and applicable INC/University guidelines.
