We are hiring for a leading digital technology company that enables businesses to streamline onboarding, verification, and documentation processes. The organization builds secure, compliant, and fully paperless workflows through scalable platforms and APIs. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact products used by enterprises to improve efficiency and customer experience.We are seeking a Sales Lead, who combines a solid technical background in the AML and compliancedomain with a passion for client engagement and business development. You will own the full salescycle—from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closure—targeting large to smallenterprises, data security and legal consulting partnerships. You will report to the Head of Enterprise Sales and work closely with the AML Product lead as the voice of the customer.Key Responsibilities- Prospecting & Pipeline Building : Identify and research target accounts across industries (financial services, healthcare, retail) and engage them through the consultative sales process. Use outbound channels (cold calls, LinkedIn, industry events) to generate leads with C‑level risk and compliance stakeholders. - Solution Selling & Discovery: Conduct technical‑sales discovery workshops, understand existing compliance processes, and AML requirements. Empower customers by demonstrating the benefits of AI based rule and scenario creation for name screening and transaction monitoring [Will be trained]. Articulate ROI of automated data‑mapping, vendor‑risk assessments, and policy workflows in driving compliance, reducing audit friction, and minimizing fines. - Proposal & Negotiation : Develop customized proposals (scope, pricing, contract terms) in coordination with Risk and Compliance teams. Keep track of upcoming renewals at our target customers, keep them engaged, and time the POCs and sales cycles to complete the sales cycle. Navigate complex procurement cycles, address objections on integration, security controls, and TCO. - Deal Closing & Forecasting : Drive contracts through legal review, secure POCs for Sandbox testing and own the go live into Production. Maintain accurate forecasts, sales hygiene, and pipeline reports in CRM. - Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work with the Product owner to deliver technical demos and POCs. Liaise with Product to relay customer feedback and feature requests. Support client onboarding and eventual scale up of the Pre-Sales function. - Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership :Engage with market participants such as Arifac, FIU-Ind, etc. Stay current on AML regulations, emerging global standards, and enforcement trends. Represent The company & The product at industry conferences, webinars, and roundtable panels.Required Profile & ExperienceTL; DR This is the first hire for the product, an AML solution and we want a self-starter who has existing connections with compliance teams and we understand this role requires certain depth in the AML, name screening, transaction monitoring, etc. and high levels of client engagement. You will bebuilding the base for an entirely new business line for The company with the aspirations of taking the product global!- Years of Experience: 4–6 years of B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in BFSI consulting in AML, compliance and risk solutions. - Domain Background: Prior experience in an AML‑consulting, AML vendor, or as a compliance salesperson. Hands‑on exposure to rules, scenarios, or GRC tools is a big plus! - Hunter Mentality: Develop your own pipeline, sniff big ticket items, and be comfortable LONG sales cycles, with ≥ 70% cold outreach. - Technical Acumen: Able to understand and discuss backend integrations (APIs, data‑connectors, entitlements), processes, controls, and audit‑logging - Client‑Facing Skills: Strong presentation skills; adept at building credibility with technical and business stakeholders alike. - Negotiation & Closing: Ability to manage complex RFP/RFI processes, negotiate commercial terms, and close mid‑ to large‑ticket deals (₹ 50 L+ ACV). - Communication: Excellent written and verbal English. Ability to craft compelling slide‑decks and proposals. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field. MBA / postgraduate qualification is desirable but not mandatory.This role is ideal for someone who has worked in cybersecurity or privacy consulting—buildingassessments or compliance frameworks—and now wants to step into a client-facing,product-led environment. You'll move from advising on compliance to directly enabling it through a scalable solution, working with decision-makers to design real-world implementations.Preferred- Experience selling into regulated sectors (e.g., banks, insurance, capital markets, - NBFCs). - Network within compliance and risk officers - Familiarity with global AML frameworks - Exposure to Pre‑Sales demos or customer‑success handoffs (end‑to‑end sales involvement)
