As a rapidly growing company with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India, serving customers in over 60 countries, JoVE is building products and platforms at the intersection of science, education, and technology.The RoleThe Innovation Manager will identify, prototype, and validate new product ideas, business models, and revenue opportunities on top of JoVE’s existing platforms—operating like an internal founder from idea to MVP.Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to extend JoVE’s platform into new use cases, customer segments, and revenue models. - Apply first-principles thinking to challenge assumptions and generate differentiated ideas. - Build wireframes, clickable prototypes, and lightweight functional demos using modern, AI-native tools. - Validate ideas through customer conversations, rapid user testing, and market analysis. - Test willingness-to-pay, adoption signals, and perceived value early. - Bring external insights into ideation and prioritization to keep JoVE ahead of the market. - Build business models and financial projections. - Partner with Product and Technology teams to hand off and support early scaling. - Remain accountable beyond ideation through early execution and learning.Requirements- A Bachelor’s degree. - 5+ years of experience in strategy and product management roles. - Demonstrated ability to take ideas from concept to prototype and validation independently. - Strong bias toward execution, experimentation, and learning in ambiguous environments. - Fluency with modern AI-native products and prototyping tools (e.g., Lovable, v0, Cursor, Replit, or similar); able to adapt quickly to new tools. - Strong UI/UX judgement; able to design user flows, wireframes, and clear, usable prototypes. - Strong analytical skills: Excel / Google Sheets, working SQL knowledge, and basic Python. - Experience building and shipping 0→1 or early 1→N products (founder, early operator, PM, technical builder, or similar).Why JoVE?- You will make a direct impact in accelerating science research and in improving student learning in science and business education for users around the world. - Opportunity to work in an environment that promotes innovation and collaboration. - Opportunity to work with a diverse and international team across North America, EMEA and APAC. - Our strong promotion from within culture draws a clear path to advance your career with us.
