GradPilots is building intelligent tools to help students make informed, confident higher-education decisions. We are looking for a Tech Intern who is excited about working at the intersection of AI/ML, data, and web technologies to help us build a custom AI-powered agent for education guidance.This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building from scratch, and working in a fast-moving startup environment.What You’ll Work On:- Build web-scraping systems to collect and structure education-related data (universities, courses, admissions, etc.) - Contribute to the development of a custom AI/ML agent that supports students in making higher-education decisions - Design and manage databases (SQL-based) to store and retrieve structured data efficiently - Integrate frontend interfaces with backend logic and AI components - Assist in experimenting with and improving ML models, prompts, or pipelines - Collaborate closely with the founding and product teams to translate ideas into working solutions.Skills & Requirements:- Working knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; frameworks are a plus) - Experience with databases (SQL or equivalent) - Basic to intermediate understanding of AI/ML concepts (models, APIs, pipelines, or agents) - Familiarity with web scraping tools or techniques (Python, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, etc.) - Ability to write clean, structured, and scalable code - Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn quickly.What You’ll Gain- Hands-on experience building real AI-driven products, not just demos - Exposure to end-to-end product development in an early-stage ed-tech startup - Opportunity to work directly on a product impacting thousands of students - Potential for extended internship or full-time opportunities based on performanceInternship Details- Start Date: January - Duration: 3–6 months (flexible) - Location: Remote / Hybrid (depending on availability) - Stipend: As per experience and skill levelHow to ApplySend your resume and (if available) GitHub / portfolio / project links tomarketing@ or apply directly via LinkedIn.
