Role OverviewThe organization is seeking an experienced Planning Manager – ICT to lead planning, scheduling, and coordination of all ICT systems for a large-scale airport / infrastructure project.The role is responsible for ensuring timely execution of ICT works, seamless integration with the overall project schedule, and alignment with key milestones and applicable regulatory standards.2. Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Scheduling- Lead planning and scheduling activities for all ICT systems within the project. - Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. - Prepare baseline schedules, weekly and monthly progress reports, and manpower/equipment deployment plans. - Track progress of ICT packages and ensure integration with overall project milestones and interfaces.Coordination & Reporting- Coordinate with ICT contractors, design consultants, and PMC teams to ensure timely delivery of inputs and outputs. - Review contractor schedules, method statements, and progress claims for accuracy and compliance. - Forecast resource requirements and assess potential impacts on the project critical path. - Analyze delays, identify risks, and propose mitigation and recovery strategies. - Coordinate planning activities related to testing, commissioning, and handover of ICT systems.Stakeholder Management- Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, consultants, and PMC stakeholders. - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of ICT progress, schedule variances, and critical path updates. - Support project managers and leadership teams with schedule insights, scenario analysis, and risk assessments to aid decision-making.3. Skills & Competencies- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project for construction planning and scheduling. - Solid understanding of ICT infrastructure and systems integration within large infrastructure or airport projects. - Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills. - Ability to interpret technical drawings, method statements, and contractor deliverables. - Proactive problem-solving ability with strong focus on critical path and risk management.4. Qualification & Experience- B.Tech / BE . - 8–15 years of experience in planning, scheduling, and ICT coordination for large infrastructure or airport projects. - Proven experience managing ICT project schedules in PMC / PMCS or large construction environments.
