Job Title:Project Manager – IEC & Swachh Survekshan Documentation (SBM-U) Location:Jalandhar, Punjab Employment Type:Contractual (Project-Based) Reporting To:CEO / Authorized Officer Salary Range:₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per monthAbout Us: Samvedna Development Society (SDS) is a leading non-profit organization committed to driving sustainable urban development and social transformation. SDS actively works in collaboration with government bodies and urban local authorities to support flagship national missions, including the Swachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U), through effective IEC, capacity building, and documentation initiatives.Position Overview: The Project Manager – IEC & SBM-U will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of IEC, Behavior Change Communication (BCC), Capacity Building, and Swachh Survekshan documentation activities. The role ensures 100% compliance with SBM-U guidelines and accurate, timely reporting on the Swachhatam Portal.Key Responsibilities: As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering SBM-U–related project activities. Your key responsibilities will include: Project Coordination & Management: Swachh Survekshan Documentation: IEC/BCC & Capacity Building: Stakeholder Coordination: Compliance & Monitoring: Reporting: Regulatory Compliance: Review Meetings & Follow-ups: Team Guidance: Audit & Gap Closure:Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Postgraduate in Environmental Science, Social Work, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum2–3 years of experiencein SBM-U, Solid Waste Management (SWM), IEC/BCC, or Swachh Survekshan–related projects. Proven experience working with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) or Government departments.Key Skills Required: Strong understanding ofSwachh Bharat Mission–UrbanandSwachh Survekshan indicators . Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage teams and deliver outputs within strict timelines.
