Our Consolidate module empowers finance teams to reduce reporting cycles from weeks to hours - eliminating manual errors and complexity.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Financial Consolidation Specialist to serve as our in-house expert and ensure our platform meets the highest standards of real-world consolidation complexity. You will work directly with our product and engineering teams, influencing key design and testing processes to deliver best-in-class solutions for global finance teams.Responsibilities:Subject Matter Expertise (40%)- Validate consolidation logic against relevant accounting standards and industry practices - Review and refine intercompany elimination rules, currency translation methods, and consolidation hierarchies - Document edge cases, including mid-period acquisitions, minority interests, and complex ownership structures - Advise product and UI/UX teams on workflows that reflect how finance leaders prioritize information and drill into data - Ensure our chart of accounts mapping supports diverse ERP and software structuresTest Data Generation (30%)- Design comprehensive test datasets that reflect real-world multi-entity structures - Create scenarios covering intercompany transactions, multi-currency operations, partial ownership, step acquisitions, and year-end adjustments - Develop reference consolidations in Excel to benchmark against platform outputs - Maintain a robust library of test cases for ongoing regression testingQuality Assurance (30%)- Conduct detailed testing of consolidation outputs (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) - Verify accuracy of currency translation and CTA calculations - Identify, document, and help resolve discrepancies with the engineering team - Validate and sign off on all fixes before product releasesWhat are we looking for:- 4–6 years’ hands-on experience in group accounting, financial consolidation, or statutory reporting - Direct experience with month-end/quarter-end consolidation processes - Strong understanding of intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and consolidation adjustments - Advanced Excel skills (building and maintaining complex consolidation workbooks) - Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, systematic approach to testing - Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbalPreferred Qualifications- Experience with consolidation software (e.g., LucaNet, SAP BPC, Oracle HFM, Tagetik, or similar) - Familiarity with IFRS or GAAP consolidation requirements - CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification - Experience with Nordic accounting systems (Tripletex, Fortnox, Visma) is a plusWhy Join Corvenia?- Be part of building the category-defining Portfolio Intelligence platform for PE - Opportunity to shape a product used by finance teams across Europe - Direct collaboration with founders and an experienced engineering team - Potential for extended engagement or a permanent position as we continue to growIf you’re passionate about financial consolidation and looking to make a real impact in a rapidly growing fintech company, we’d love to hear from you.
